$25,000 Reward—Wanted: Korean American Heroes

From all over the world every day, immigrants to the United States arrive to achieve their American Dream, to make the most of the unique possibilities that the United States grants for all. For its part, the United States must work hard to maintain our country as the Land of Opportunity. To keep this system going, we desperately need immigrants who will become U.S. patriots and provide willing service for their neighbors and their new nation.

As more and more Americans of Korean ancestry serve their neighbors and the United States, the reputation of Korean Americans as an ethnic group has risen. One day—hopefully soon—the respect we’ve earned will result in our becoming an integral part of this nation. Indeed, countless numbers of patriots in the Korean American community have served their adopted nation in significant ways.

The American Korean Friendship Society  (USKorea.org), an affiliate of Good Neighboring Foundation, in the last several years has recognized seven individuals with the New American Hero Award and the $25,000 that comes with it. The time has arrived again to find more Americans of Korean ancestry who have served the United States in a significant manner and made all Americans proud.

Look around you. If you identify such an individual, please nominate that person for the  New American Hero Award . The objective of the award is to recognize patriotic deeds by Korean immigrants to America—to inspire and encourage all fellow citizens to make contributions that ultimately benefit and serve the needs of this nation. Submit your nomination in free format with supporting information. To avoid refutes, we excluded meritorious with pay or treatments from the nomination process.

Submit your nominations and questions to email:  greaterhr@aol.com
